Matthew Y. Biscan is a trial lawyer. He represents individuals, businesses, medical and other professionals, healthcare institutions and insurers. Matt’s practice is largely devoted to the defense of commercial, insurance, ERISA, tort, employment, product liability and professional liability litigation. In addition to his litigation practice, Matt provides legal advice on business transactions, risk management, and regulatory compliance. He tries cases in state and federal courts, before administrative agencies, and in arbitrations and other alternative dispute resolution forums.

Mr. Biscan has lectured on diverse topics such as the regulation of managed care, legal ethics, business litigation, risk management in the healthcare practice, national developments in medical liability case law and legislation, and European Privacy Directive conflicts with American discovery rules.
